Life Transitions I

Instructors: Carolyn Esky and Vicky MacRitchie

Life transitions can take many forms. We change our marital status, get laid off from work, lose a loved one, take on new responsibilities, re-enter or leave the job market, or just start wondering what life is really all about. Shifts in our self identity or life patterns provide the perfect opportunity to learn new and more effective strategies for creating positive change. In this six week class and support group experience, you will learn:

How to assess your schedule and ensure time for important people, activities and events
Methods for examining personal perception - is it helping or hurting?
Ways to improve listening and communication skills
Identification of the next steps to successful living
*Class includes support group that meets once a week. Support Group meeting time will be determined the first day of class.
