Life Transitions II

Instructor: Carolyn Esky

The reality of continuing life transitions can be unsettling, even to those of us who have a clear sense of purpose and direction. Using the self-awareness discovered in Life Transitions I, Life Transitions II identifies ways to integrate this enhanced sense of self with assertive communications, effective decision-making and goal setting, and purposeful, intentional living. Building on a more positive and powerful sense of self, you will begin to define your personal, professional, social, and spiritual life by values and dreams rather than by the expectations held by others outside of yourself.

  The importance of making decisions based on personally defined and prioritized values;
  Assertive communication techniques that respect and honor you and others;
  The foundation of personal goals and how to measure their success;
  “Sabotage” and its role in protecting what is “safe” and “comfortable” in your developing life.
Support Group meeting time determined the first night of class, meets outside of class 1.5 hours/week.
